Well Eric took me to the foot doctor, Dr. Parmenter, yesterday in Bloomington. He is very nice & smart! He said the best approach to my 4 heel spurs were to try these tight fitting compression socks, a compound gel to apply twice daily & physical therapy twice weekly x 4 wks. After I try that x 3 wks I am supposed to call him with an update. This is the approach he wants to take instead of surgery. Although the surgery didn't sound all that bad--15 minutes each foot and he's done! He also said that I indeed did break my left foot last Tuesday when I stepped off the porch and totally laid my foot on its side and I heard POP! I didn't think that popping sound was normal!! The x-rays didn't show anything that I took last week but he said it was deep in the foot. He pinpointed the spot exactly. So, anyways, this is what I'm trying for now!!! It's hard to get any relief when you're on them all the time. He said that's the trouble with feet--you can never rest them! After that we went to Wms. Bros. Pharmacy in Bloomington to get the gel filled because they make the compound there & they will send it to the Loogootee one for me to pick up. Then we drove to Bedford and ate at the Golden Corral (YUM!) then to Bath & Body Works & Shoe Show for some new shoes! Eric got some nice Nikes that have black & gold on them--cool! I got some new ones too. Today the old feetsies are hurting but I know it's a combo of the socks & new shoes together. Hope & pray it helps!!!

Sorry to hear you are hurting....hope your feet are better soon!
