Everyone's better...maybe

Normally Olivia is a great sleeper. Every night since she was 7-8 weeks old she takes a bottle around 8:30 p.m., goes to sleep in her crib and stays there til about 5 a.m. Then she starts talking, I feed her a 4 oz bottle in my bed and let her sleep on her belly in my bed with me until whenever she wakes up. Well, Friday night we went to Jasper Wal-Mart and Burger King, got home a little later than usual. I gave her a bottle, she refused to go to sleep so I let her stay up awhile and play since the girls were playing games on the computer. They went to bed around 10:30 p.m. so I tried laying her down. Before I knew it she was crying so I got up to rock her and laid her back down again. Once again, crying then I rock her, diaper is not wet so I put her to bed. She would only stay in bed approx 10 minutes before she'd be screaming!! We could not figure out what could be wrong. No wet diaper, she ate the same food we ate at supper (a burger from Burger King & some ice cream), the formula was new, she had burped good, no fever--what's wrong?! Maybe her top two teeth that are going crazy trying to come down were hurting her--Eric thought her sinuses were draining, but I don't think they were because she doesn't have any snot problems. I wondered if she was nauseated because she kept swallowing like she had alot of spit in her mouth. Anyways, she would only sleep upright with her head on my shoulder and since Eric can sleep sitting up in the recliner he offered to take her and let me go to bed. I checked on them often and they were both snoring like crazy all night long. She didn't wake up til close to 8 a.m. and acted much better. In fact, she was fine and took about an hour and a half nap around 10:30 a.m. But, poor Eric! He was better with his head cold symptoms that he'd had last week but for some reason he woke up really sick, coughing, gagging on phlegm, fever/chills, chest pains, etc. I got him an antibiotic and let him take a breathing treatment and it helped alot. He did nothing but lay in bed all day Saturday. He awoke today feeling tons better only coughing ALOT! Kayla & Danielle spent the night with my mom and dad Saturday night after church so Olivia and I went over about 1:30 today. We came home around 4 p.m. and all 5 of us headed back to Jasper to get some Christmas ideas from the girls at K-Mart. I FINALLY put a layaway on at K-Mart!!! I have absolutely nothing bought for Christmas except what I put on layaway! I can't believe Christmas is this close!! We bought Olivia her Christmas dress tonight. They have pictures scheduled at the Jasper Wal-Mart this Wednesday in their Christmas dresses.
So, tonight we get home after shopping, the girls eat cereal and we take our baths to prepare for the dreaded Monday. Next thing I know, Kayla is bawling and squawling with her belly killing her. She went to the bathroom but it didn't help much. She looked flushed so I checked her temp but she didn't have a fever so I gave her some Rolaids and she went to bed. I'm crossing my fingers she is better in the morning! I want everyone well to enjoy the upcoming Turkey Day!!!!!!
